I’m putting it out there man!!!! Anything with Yusef is my favorite artist of the year 2022 thus far – worldwide. Need proof of why this is??? Just go back and listen to his work from the High-Grade collab, WNDR, work with NZA, definitely his pieces with Flex The Ninja, and of course, most recent being the build-up singles to the project which feature ‘Eye to eye‘. ‘Shanghai’ is a top tune, with great writing and some dope arrangement – his ear for vocal choices and meaning is ‘upper level’. I honestly can’t wait for his “I’LL TELL YOU AT MIDNIGHT” project to drop yoh! For now, though – going to ‘Shanghai’ and streaming it fully.
