MANE DILLA – TRAFRIKA [EP]
It’s literally been raining tonnes of new music from the BW in the past couple of weeks, all year long actually and all that is not about to stop. The other 1/3 of the infamous(famous) Faded Gang just dropped a 6 track project and it’s got the interwebs bugging with tonnes of fire emojies. The introductory song Dilla’s Revenge (classic heads will remember J-Dilla’s Revenge when they hear this) is fiery with quick chop bars and Amo Beatz’s production all through the project gives a good backdrop to Mane Dilla’s verses. The last joint on it is the perfect medley to close out the tape with Larry Don Captain spicing things up, ‘Poppin’ it is! I especially enjoyed ‘I like It’ which features Obvdo too, all in all TRAFRIKA is a solid six track offering with a surprisingly very soulful new age sound!
